Description

A quick and flavorful spicy Asian zucchini stir fry coated in a glossy garlic chili sauce, perfectly balanced with savory, sweet, and tangy notes.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium zucchini, sliced into rounds
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, chili paste, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch slurry.
  3. Add a small amount of oil to the skillet and let it heat.
  4. Add zucchini slices and garlic, stir fry for 5 to 7 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Pour in the sauce and stir continuously until it thickens and coats the zucchini.
  6. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds on top.
