- 700 grams chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 3 medium carrots, sliced
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cooking cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Turn the slow cooker to low heat so it is ready.
- In a bowl, mix flour with a small amount of chicken broth until smooth.
- Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter.
- Add chicken, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, salt, and black pepper into the slow cooker. Pour in the remaining chicken broth and the flour mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Stir in the cooking cream and let it heat through for about 15 minutes.
- Remove bay leaves, stir gently, and serve warm.
