Ingredients

  • 700 grams chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 3 medium carrots, sliced
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cooking cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Turn the slow cooker to low heat so it is ready.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour with a small amount of chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter.
  4. Add chicken, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, salt, and black pepper into the slow cooker. Pour in the remaining chicken broth and the flour mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Stir in the cooking cream and let it heat through for about 15 minutes.
  7. Remove bay leaves, stir gently, and serve warm.
