- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound beef strips, thinly sliced
- 1 cup green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta until just tender. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook until soft and slightly caramelized.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently to combine.
- Add the shredded provolone cheese gradually, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper, adjust to taste, and let simmer briefly.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
