Description

Creamy fettuccine tossed in rich parmesan alfredo sauce and topped with juicy honey butter glazed chicken for the ultimate comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet. Melt butter in the same skillet and stir in honey.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the honey butter glaze. Remove and keep warm.
  6. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Stir in parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  9. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  10. Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan cheese for the smoothest sauce.
  • Reserve a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  • Reheat leftovers slowly over low heat with a splash of cream.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.
