- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
- 4 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and place the pie crust into a 9 inch pie dish.
- Whisk together eggs, sugar, heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, cornstarch, and melted butter until smooth.
- Arrange sliced peaches evenly inside the pie crust.
- Pour the custard mixture over the peaches.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the center is mostly set and the crust is golden brown.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for the best texture.
- Allow the pie to cool fully so the custard sets properly.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for extra richness.
