Description

A comforting and hearty dish made with crispy fried potatoes, juicy chicken pieces, and caramelized onions, all brought together with warm spices and fresh herbs.


Ingredients

  • 600 grams potatoes, sliced
  • 400 grams boneless chicken thigh pieces
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  2. Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden and fully cooked, then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and butter, then add the sliced potatoes and onions.
  5. Cook until the potatoes are golden and crispy, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix well, cooking for a few more minutes.
  8. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve hot.

  • Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure crispiness.
