- 500 grams beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 250 grams mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Turn the crockpot to low heat and let it warm up slightly.
- In a bowl, mix beef, onions, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme until evenly coated.
- Lightly grease the crockpot with butter.
- Layer potatoes at the bottom, then add the beef mixture, mushrooms, and pour in the broth and cream.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, until beef is tender and potatoes are soft.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top during the last 20 minutes and let it melt.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
