- 500 grams boneless chicken
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Prepare three bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
- Flatten chicken pieces, add mozzarella and a spoon of marinara sauce, then roll tightly.
- Coat each roll in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place on tray, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 25 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving with extra marinara sauce.
Notes
- Press the coating firmly to ensure it sticks well.
- Do not overfill the rolls to avoid leaking during baking.
- Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
