- 500 grams ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 10 small flour tortillas
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C or prepare oil in a skillet for frying.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic until browned.
- Add salt, black pepper, and paprika, then mix well and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of shredded cheese onto each tortilla.
- Roll the tortillas tightly and place them seam-side down on a lined baking tray or directly into the skillet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden and crispy, or fry until crisp on all sides.
- Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Warm tortillas slightly before rolling to prevent cracking.
- Do not overfill to avoid opening during cooking.
- Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
- Reheat in the oven to keep them crispy.
