- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar, then let it sit until foamy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then knead until smooth.
- Lightly oil a bowl and place the dough inside, cover and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough, flatten each piece, place a cube of cheese inside, then shape into knots.
- Arrange on the baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 15 to 18 minutes.
- Mix melted butter with garlic and brush over the hot knots, then sprinkle parsley and parmesan.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- Do not overfill with cheese to prevent leaking
- Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor
- Reheat in the oven to maintain texture
