- 500 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until ready for frying.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk eggs and buttermilk.
- Dip shrimp into the wet mixture, then coat in the dry mixture until fully covered.
- Carefully place coated shrimp into the hot oil in batches.
- Fry shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and hot sauce, then toss shrimp lightly in the sauce.
- Fill tortillas with shrimp, top with lettuce and cabbage, and drizzle extra sauce if desired. Serve immediately.

- Pat shrimp dry before coating for extra crispiness.
- Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
- Adjust the spice level by increasing or reducing hot sauce.
