Description
Yuzu Mojitos are a refreshing twist on the classic mojito, combining the bright citrusy tang of yuzu with fresh mint, rum, and a fizzy splash of soda. Light, zesty, and perfect for warm days or cocktail nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 oz white rum
- 1 oz yuzu juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 10–15 fresh mint leaves (about 1/4 to 1/3 cup, loosely packed)
- Club soda or sparkling water, about 4 oz
- Lime wedges, for garnish
Instructions
- In a sturdy glass, muddle the fresh mint leaves gently with the simple syrup and yuzu juice to release the mint’s oils.
- Add the white rum and stir to combine.
- Fill the glass with ice, then top with club soda or sparkling water.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and extra mint sprig if desired.
- Stir lightly before sipping and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to taste.
- If yuzu juice is very tart, balance with a touch of extra syrup or a splash of orange juice.
- For a mocktail version, skip the rum and add a little more soda.
