Description

Crispy wonton chips layered with creamy crab filling, melted cheese, and a sweet chili drizzle, creating a bold and irresistible fusion appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 20 wonton wrappers, cut into triangles
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying or 2 tablespoons for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F or heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, soy sauce, garlic powder, and half of the green onions until smooth.
  3. Bake wonton triangles brushed with oil or fry them until golden and crispy.
  4. Layer crispy wonton chips on a tray, spread the crab mixture evenly, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Drizzle sweet chili sauce and sprinkle remaining green onions.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
