- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (for coating)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for coating)
- Optional: sliced green onions or a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
- Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands or plastic wrap.
- In a shallow dish, mix together chopped pecans and parsley.
- Roll the cheeseball in the pecan-parsley mixture until fully coated.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up and allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with crackers, pretzels, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
- Make ahead: the cheeseball can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the fridge.
- Swap cheddar for a smoked cheese or blue cheese for variation.
- Use crushed crackers or bacon bits for the coating instead of pecans for a different texture.
