- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Whisk in both sugars, then the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is glossy.
- Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Drizzle half the caramel sauce and sprinkle half the pecans over the batter.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter, then repeat with the rest of the caramel and pecans. Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan before slicing. Drizzle with extra caramel if desired.
