- 1 packet au jus dried seasoning
- 1 packet dried ranch dressing seasoning
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 6–10 peperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chuck roast on all sides until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Transfer roast to a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle au jus seasoning and ranch seasoning evenly over the roast.
- Top with butter and place peperoncini peppers around the roast.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until roast is fork-tender.
- Shred the meat directly in the slow cooker and mix with juices before serving.
