Description

This easy stir fry sauce is a versatile and flavorful mix of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and a touch of sweetness — perfect for bringing your favorite stir fry dishes to life.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl or jar, whisk together all ingredients until well combined and cornstarch is fully dissolved.
  2. Use immediately in stir fry recipes by adding to cooked protein and vegetables in a hot pan. Cook for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  3. Alternatively, store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Shake or stir before using.
