- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked jasmine rice, for serving
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, and water. Set aside.
- Add brown sugar to the dry pan and melt until it bubbles and darkens. Add garlic and stir until fragrant.
- Add pork to the pan and sear until browned on all sides.
- Pour in the soy sauce mixture. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until pork is tender and sauce thickens to a glaze.
- Squeeze in lime juice and toss to coat.
- Serve over hot jasmine rice and garnish with green onions and lime wedges.
