Description

Thai Style Sweet & Sticky Pork is a quick, flavorful dish that combines tender pork in a glossy caramel glaze with bold Thai flavors like garlic, fish sauce, and lime. Served over jasmine rice, it’s perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds pork shoulder, cut into chunks
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cooked jasmine rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, and water. Set aside.
  3. Add brown sugar to the dry pan and melt until it bubbles and darkens. Add garlic and stir until fragrant.
  4. Add pork to the pan and sear until browned on all sides.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce mixture. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until pork is tender and sauce thickens to a glaze.
  6. Squeeze in lime juice and toss to coat.
  7. Serve over hot jasmine rice and garnish with green onions and lime wedges.
