Ingredients
- Frozen Shredded Hash Browns: 3 cups (thawed and squeezed dry)
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese: 1 cup (shredded)
- Parmesan Cheese: 1/4 cup (grated)
- Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Onion Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Chopped Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Black Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg: 1 large
- Melted Butter or Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease or line a muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, mix hash browns, cheddar, parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
- Grease a muffin tin or silicone mold thoroughly.
- Spoon mixture into each cavity, pressing down firmly to form compact bricks.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and crisp on the edges and top.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then gently loosen and remove from pan.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use a silicone muffin mold for easiest removal.
- Squeeze all moisture out of hash browns for optimal crispiness.
- Reheat in oven or air fryer for best texture.
