Description

Golden and crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside—these Tater Brick Bites are the ultimate comfort snack that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Frozen Shredded Hash Browns: 3 cups (thawed and squeezed dry)
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese: 1 cup (shredded)
  • Parmesan Cheese: 1/4 cup (grated)
  • Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Onion Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg: 1 large
  • Melted Butter or Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease or line a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, mix hash browns, cheddar, parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Grease a muffin tin or silicone mold thoroughly.
  4. Spoon mixture into each cavity, pressing down firmly to form compact bricks.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and crisp on the edges and top.
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes, then gently loosen and remove from pan.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use a silicone muffin mold for easiest removal.
  • Squeeze all moisture out of hash browns for optimal crispiness.
  • Reheat in oven or air fryer for best texture.
