Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup raw walnuts
- 1 cup raw pecans
- 1/4 cup tamari sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together tamari sauce, maple syrup, olive oil, smoked paprika, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Add all the raw nuts and sesame seeds to the bowl and toss until fully coated.
- Spread the nut mixture evenly in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through to ensure even roasting.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely on the pan. The nuts will crisp up as they cool.
- Once cooled, transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container for storage.

- Use raw, unsalted nuts for best results.
- Let the nuts cool fully before storing to maintain crispness.
- Add cayenne for a spicy twist or nutritional yeast for extra umami.
- These make great homemade gifts when packed in jars.
