- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat evenly.
- Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly and chicken is glazed.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra heat, add crushed red pepper flakes or sriracha.
- Use chicken breast for a leaner option, or thighs for juicier meat.
- Add bell peppers or snap peas for added veggies.
