Description
A luxurious surf and turf dish featuring juicy ribeye steak paired with tender lobster or shrimp, all draped in a silky garlic butter cream sauce. Perfect for special dinners or celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks (10 oz each), well-marbled
- 2 lobster tails or 12 jumbo shrimp, cleaned
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and oven to 400°F if finishing steak inside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in cream, Parmesan, and lemon juice. Let simmer until thickened.
- Drizzle olive oil in the skillet, season steaks with salt and pepper, and sear for 3–4 minutes per side. Finish in oven if desired doneness requires.
- Remove steaks and let rest while you cook seafood in the same skillet until opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Pour creamy garlic butter sauce over steak and seafood, garnish with parsley.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the harmony of flavors.
Notes
- Pat proteins dry before cooking to achieve a good sear.
- Let steak rest 5 minutes before slicing to lock in juices.
- Cook seafood quickly to avoid rubbery texture.
- Grate Parmesan fresh for the smoothest sauce.
