Description

A luxurious surf and turf dish featuring juicy ribeye steak paired with tender lobster or shrimp, all draped in a silky garlic butter cream sauce. Perfect for special dinners or celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks (10 oz each), well-marbled
  • 2 lobster tails or 12 jumbo shrimp, cleaned
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and oven to 400°F if finishing steak inside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in cream, Parmesan, and lemon juice. Let simmer until thickened.
  3. Drizzle olive oil in the skillet, season steaks with salt and pepper, and sear for 3–4 minutes per side. Finish in oven if desired doneness requires.
  4. Remove steaks and let rest while you cook seafood in the same skillet until opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  5. Pour creamy garlic butter sauce over steak and seafood, garnish with parsley.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the harmony of flavors.

Notes

  • Pat proteins dry before cooking to achieve a good sear.
  • Let steak rest 5 minutes before slicing to lock in juices.
  • Cook seafood quickly to avoid rubbery texture.
  • Grate Parmesan fresh for the smoothest sauce.
