Description

These Super Meat Lovers Cheddar Biscuit Breakfast Sandwiches are a hearty, indulgent breakfast made with homemade cheddar-garlic biscuits stacked with bacon, sausage, eggs, and melty cheddar cheese. Perfect for weekends or brunch gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 sausage patties
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, parsley, and salt.
  2. Cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk and shredded cheddar until a dough forms.
  3. Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet to form 8 biscuits. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool slightly.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a skillet until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, cook sausage patties until browned and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
  6. Add olive oil if needed, then fry eggs to your liking (sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled).
  7. Slice biscuits in half. On each bottom half, layer one sausage patty, one slice of cheddar cheese, one fried egg, and a slice of bacon.
  8. Top with the other half of the biscuit and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can prepare the biscuits ahead of time and reheat before assembling.
  • For extra flavor, brush the biscuits with melted butter and a sprinkle of garlic powder before serving.
  • Customize by adding ham, avocado, or hot sauce for variety.
  • If you prefer a lighter version, use turkey bacon or chicken sausage.
