- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 12 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and flatten each piece into a small circle.
- Place a piece of mozzarella cheese stick in the center of each dough circle, fold the dough over, and pinch to seal completely.
- Arrange the stuffed dough balls on the baking sheet, seam side down.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Fill with cooked sausage or veggies for variation.
- Use crescent roll dough for a softer crust alternative.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven for 5 minutes for best results.
