- 1 and a half cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- half teaspoon black pepper
- a handful fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat Your Equipment: Place a large skillet over medium heat and allow it to warm.
- Combine Ingredients: Add olive oil, then sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Drain excess fat if needed, then stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Assemble the Dish: Add broken lasagna noodles into the sauce, ensuring they are submerged.
- Cook to Perfection: Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender and sauce thickens.
- Finishing Touches: Add ricotta in spoonfuls, sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan, then cover until cheese melts.
