Description

Fresh, vibrant, and loaded with flavor, these Salmon Caesar Soft Tacos are a modern twist on a classic Caesar salad. Creamy, crunchy, and perfectly balanced in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skinless
  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup finely sliced red cabbage
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm up.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded lettuce, red cabbage, Caesar dressing, lemon juice, and black pepper. Toss well and set aside to chill.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the hot pan, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper. Cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until just cooked through. Flake gently with a fork.
  4. Warm your tortillas in a skillet or microwave. Lay out each tortilla, add a scoop of Caesar slaw, top with flaked salmon, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
  5. Drizzle a little extra Caesar dressing if desired and add a squeeze of lemon over the top.
  6. Serve immediately while the tortillas are warm and the slaw still crisp.

Notes

  • Keep tortillas wrapped in foil after warming to prevent drying out.
  • Use a mandoline slicer for super fine cabbage shreds.
  • Let the salmon rest a few minutes after cooking to retain juices.
