Description
S’mores Bars are a gooey, nostalgic dessert that layers graham cracker crust, melty chocolate, and toasted marshmallows — all the flavor of classic campfire s’mores, no fire required. Easy to make and perfect for parties or potlucks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full crackers)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until evenly combined, then press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top of the milk layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows evenly over the top.
- Return to oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, or until marshmallows are golden and slightly toasted.
- Cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate for cleaner slicing. Optionally sprinkle with crushed graham crackers before serving.
- Slice into bars and serve.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a layer of peanut butter or Nutella before the chocolate chips.
- Use milk chocolate for a more traditional s’mores flavor.
- Bars can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
- To toast marshmallows more, broil briefly on high — watch closely!
