Description

S’mores Bars are a gooey, nostalgic dessert that layers graham cracker crust, melty chocolate, and toasted marshmallows — all the flavor of classic campfire s’mores, no fire required. Easy to make and perfect for parties or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full crackers)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until evenly combined, then press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top of the milk layer.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows evenly over the top.
  6. Return to oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, or until marshmallows are golden and slightly toasted.
  7. Cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate for cleaner slicing. Optionally sprinkle with crushed graham crackers before serving.
  8. Slice into bars and serve.

Notes

  • For extra richness, add a layer of peanut butter or Nutella before the chocolate chips.
  • Use milk chocolate for a more traditional s’mores flavor.
  • Bars can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
  • To toast marshmallows more, broil briefly on high — watch closely!
