Description

Ingredients

  • 2 smoked sausages, cooked
  • 2 sandwich rolls or hoagie buns
  • 1/4 cup chimichurri sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the smoked sausages on a grill or in a pan until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Slice the sausages into halves or thirds, depending on your preference, and set aside.
  3. For the chimichurri sauce, mix olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, chopped cilantro, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
