- 700 grams chicken pieces
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 3 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup white grape juice
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
Instructions
- Turn the slow cooker to low heat to preheat.
- Toss the chicken pieces with flour, salt, and black pepper until lightly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and lightly brown the chicken pieces.
- Add the chicken, carrots, potatoes, celery, onion, and garlic into the slow cooker. Pour in the chicken broth and white grape juice, then sprinkle thyme over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until the chicken is tender and vegetables are soft.
- Stir in the cream and let it warm through for about 10 minutes. Add parsley and adjust seasoning.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
