Description

Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Taco Dip is a rich, cheesy, and flavorful party favorite made with seasoned ground beef, cream cheese, salsa, and shredded cheese. It’s the ultimate warm dip for game days, potlucks, or any casual gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1 cup salsa (mild or medium, depending on preference)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Chopped cilantro or sliced jalapeños (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  3. Transfer the seasoned beef to a slow cooker.
  4. Add cream cheese, salsa, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and Monterey Jack (if using). Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is fully melted and the dip is smooth.
  6. Before serving, stir well and garnish with chopped green onions, cilantro, or jalapeños if desired.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
