Description
The Sloppy Joe Mac & Cheese Wrap combines two comfort food favorites into one irresistible handheld meal. Creamy, cheesy macaroni pairs perfectly with savory, saucy ground beef in a warm tortilla wrap — easy to make, fun to eat, and totally satisfying.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 large flour tortillas
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic, tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened. Set aside.
- In a separate saucepan, combine cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, and milk over low heat. Stir until cheese is melted and creamy.
- Warm tortillas slightly to make them more pliable.
- On each tortilla, layer a scoop of cheesy mac and cheese, followed by a generous spoonful of the sloppy joe mixture.
- Fold in the sides and roll up into a wrap. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use pre-made mac & cheese for quicker prep.
- Swap ground beef for ground turkey or plant-based meat if desired.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy twist.
- Wraps can be toasted on a skillet or panini press for a crispy finish.
