Description

Crispy, flavorful oat crackers made with pantry staples like oats, whole wheat flour, olive oil, and herbs. Perfect for snacking, dipping, or adding to a cheese board.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, salt, baking powder, garlic powder, rosemary, and sesame seeds. Stir in olive oil and warm water until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Dust a flat surface lightly with flour. Divide the dough in half for easier rolling.
  4. Roll each portion thin, about 1/8 inch thick. Transfer to the baking sheet and use a pizza cutter or knife to cut into squares or rectangles. Prick each cracker with a fork.
  5. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, flipping the sheet halfway through, until edges are golden and crisp.
  6. Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. Serve with your favorite dips, cheese, or enjoy on their own.
