- 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage links, cooked
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- Place a small spoonful of scrambled eggs, a sausage link, and a sprinkle of cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
- Place roll-ups seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce like ketchup or salsa.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked bacon or ham for the sausage.
