Description

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are a delicious and portable breakfast option featuring scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheese wrapped in flaky crescent dough. Perfect for busy mornings or a brunch gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage links, cooked
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Place a small spoonful of scrambled eggs, a sausage link, and a sprinkle of cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place roll-ups seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce like ketchup or salsa.

Notes

  • You can substitute cooked bacon or ham for the sausage.
  • Add diced vegetables to the scrambled eggs for extra flavor and nutrition.
