Description

This creamy Roasted Garlic Dip blends the sweetness of caramelized garlic with tangy sour cream and rich mayo, creating a smooth and flavorful snack perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 whole garlic bulbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the garlic bulbs, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until golden and soft.
  3. While garlic roasts, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  4. Once garlic cools, squeeze out the cloves and mash them. Add to the bowl and mix until smooth.
  5. Chill the dip in the fridge for at least 1 hour for flavors to meld.
  6. Top with olive oil, red pepper flakes, and parsley before serving.

  • Let roasted garlic cool before handling.
  • For smoother dip, blend in a food processor.
  • Adjust seasoning after chilling for best flavor.
