Description

Soft, golden mini cinnamon rolls made from crescent dough, swirled with warm cinnamon sugar and finished with a silky vanilla glaze. Ready in under 30 minutes and perfect for breakfast, snack time, or dessert.

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Stir granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl until evenly combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough on a clean surface and gently press seams to seal into a rectangle. Brush the surface with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the buttered dough, then roll the dough tightly into a log.
  5. Slice the log into bite-size pieces and arrange them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between pieces.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden at the edges.
  7. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Drizzle the warm bites with glaze, let set slightly, then serve.

Notes

  • Note: Chill the filled dough log for 5 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Use a serrated knife or dental floss to slice without squishing the layers.
  • Glaze while warm so it melts into the spirals for extra flavor.
  • For deeper flavor, substitute brown sugar for part or all of the granulated sugar.
