Description
Soft, golden mini cinnamon rolls made from crescent dough, swirled with warm cinnamon sugar and finished with a silky vanilla glaze. Ready in under 30 minutes and perfect for breakfast, snack time, or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stir granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl until evenly combined.
- Unroll crescent dough on a clean surface and gently press seams to seal into a rectangle. Brush the surface with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the buttered dough, then roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into bite-size pieces and arrange them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between pieces.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden at the edges.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Drizzle the warm bites with glaze, let set slightly, then serve.
Notes
- Note: Chill the filled dough log for 5 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
- Use a serrated knife or dental floss to slice without squishing the layers.
- Glaze while warm so it melts into the spirals for extra flavor.
- For deeper flavor, substitute brown sugar for part or all of the granulated sugar.
