Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a round baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Divide pizza dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Flatten each ball slightly, fill with a pinch of mozzarella and a few mini pepperoni, then pinch the dough closed and roll into a ball again.
- Place stuffed dough balls seam-side down in the prepared dish, fitting them snugly together.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush over the dough balls.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Try adding cooked sausage, olives, or bell peppers for variety.
- These can be prepped ahead and baked just before serving.
- Serve directly in the skillet for a rustic presentation.
