- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce (optional, for dipping)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh basil or red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or prepare air fryer at 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange pepperoni slices or tortilla chips in a single layer on a baking sheet or air fryer basket lined with parchment.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over each chip or slice.
- Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan if using.
- Bake for 6–8 minutes or air fry for 4–6 minutes, until cheese is melted and edges are crisp.
- Let cool slightly to crisp up, then garnish with fresh basil or red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Use mini naan, pita chips, or zucchini slices for a lower-carb variation.
- Add chopped olives, bell peppers, or jalapeños for extra toppings.
- Best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
