Description

Pecorino Garlic Potatoes over Harissa Mayo is a flavorful side dish featuring crispy roasted potatoes tossed with garlic and Pecorino cheese, served atop a creamy, spicy harissa mayonnaise for a perfect balance of zest and creaminess.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon harissa paste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast for 25–30 minutes until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.
  4. Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise, harissa paste, and lemon juice in a small bowl to make harissa mayo.
  5. Once potatoes are roasted, toss them with grated Pecorino cheese while still hot.
  6. Serve the potatoes on a plate with a generous dollop of harissa mayo underneath or on the side.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
