Description

Pecan Pie Bark is a quick and delicious twist on the classic holiday dessert. Made with buttery toffee, crunchy pecans, and a crisp cracker base, this sweet treat captures all the flavors of pecan pie in an easy, shareable form—perfect for gifting or snacking!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 40 saltine crackers (about 1 sleeve)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional: melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease it.
  2. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer to cover the entire baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a boil and let it bubble for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Mix in the chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the mixture evenly over the crackers and spread gently to cover them all.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the topping is bubbly and slightly caramelized.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. If using, drizzle melted chocolate over the bark once cooled slightly.
  8. Once fully set, break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • You can use graham crackers instead of saltines for a sweeter base.
  • Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top for a sweet-salty finish.
  • Store in a cool place or refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Great for holiday gift boxes or cookie trays!
