Description

Peach Pretzel Salad is a sweet and salty layered dessert with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy whipped filling, and a juicy peach topping. It’s a refreshing and crowd-pleasing dish perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 2 (3 oz) packages peach-flavored gelatin (or 1 large 6 oz box)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced fresh peaches (or canned, drained)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust.
  2. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust, making sure to seal the edges to prevent the gelatin from seeping through. Chill in the fridge while preparing the gelatin layer.
  5. Dissolve peach gelatin in boiling water. Let it cool for about 15–20 minutes until it reaches room temperature, then stir in sliced peaches.
  6. Carefully pour the gelatin mixture over the cream layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  7. Slice and serve chilled. Optional: top with extra whipped cream and peach slices for garnish.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream layer is well spread and touches the edges of the pan to prevent the gelatin from leaking through.
  • You can use canned or frozen peaches if fresh ones are not available — just make sure they’re drained well.
  • Chill overnight for best results and easier slicing.
