Description

Peach Pecan Bread is a moist, sweet quick bread packed with juicy peaches and crunchy pecans. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert, it brings warm, comforting flavors in every slice.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups peeled and chopped fresh peaches (or canned, drained)
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Stir in the oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the chopped peaches and pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra texture, sprinkle chopped pecans on top before baking.
  • If using canned peaches, be sure to drain them well to avoid excess moisture.
  • This bread freezes well — wrap tightly in plastic and freeze for up to 2 months.
