Description

Decadent Peach Cobbler Cheesecake-Stuffed Donuts filled with creamy cheesecake and sweet peach cobbler filling, then rolled in cinnamon sugar for an irresistible dessert treat.


Ingredients

  • 12 store-bought or homemade yeast donuts (unfilled)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 1/2 cups canned or fresh peaches, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cobbler filling)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine peaches, brown sugar, granulated sugar (for filling), cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until thickened. Let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in whipped cream until light and fluffy to create cheesecake filling.
  3. Make a small incision in the side of each donut and gently widen the cavity inside.
  4. Fill a piping bag with the cheesecake mixture and pipe halfway into each donut cavity.
  5. Then add the cooled peach cobbler filling into the donut, filling completely.
  6. Brush the donuts lightly with melted butter and roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours for a chilled version.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought filled donuts by removing some filling and replacing it with the cheesecake-peach mixture.
  • To save time, use canned peach pie filling and pre-made donuts.
  • Best enjoyed the same day to maintain freshness and texture.
