- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until combined.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top evenly.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let brownies cool completely in the pan.
- Once cool, spread chocolate frosting evenly on top.
- Sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles. Slice and serve.

- Chilling the brownies before slicing makes cleaner cuts.
