Description

Tender oven baked salmon seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and fresh lemon, roasted until flaky and juicy with a light golden finish.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large lemon, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper and mix well.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin side down on the prepared baking sheet leaving space between each piece.
  4. Brush the olive oil mixture evenly over each fillet.
  5. Place lemon slices on top of the salmon.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.

  • Use fresh salmon fillets for the best flavor and texture.
  • Avoid overcooking the salmon so it stays moist and tender.
  • Fresh herbs like dill or chives can be used instead of parsley.
