Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large lemon, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper and mix well.
- Place the salmon fillets skin side down on the prepared baking sheet leaving space between each piece.
- Brush the olive oil mixture evenly over each fillet.
- Place lemon slices on top of the salmon.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top.
- Serve immediately while warm.

- Use fresh salmon fillets for the best flavor and texture.
- Avoid overcooking the salmon so it stays moist and tender.
- Fresh herbs like dill or chives can be used instead of parsley.
