Description

A rich and comforting one-pan pasta dish made with tender ground beef, creamy tomato sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta shells, ideal for quick and satisfying dinners.


Ingredients

  • 450 grams ground beef
  • 250 grams medium pasta shells
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add olive oil, sauté diced onion until soft, then add minced garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, pasta shells, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Let sit for a couple of minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated cheese for smoother melting.
