- 250 grams medium pasta shells
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add olive oil, sauté diced onion until soft, then add minced garlic and cook briefly.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, pasta shells, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Let sit for a couple of minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
- Use freshly grated cheese for smoother melting.
