Description

No-Boil Broccoli Pasta Bake is an easy, hands-off casserole packed with creamy cheese, tender pasta, and fresh broccoli. Everything bakes together in one dish—no boiling required—making it a perfect fuss-free family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, sour cream, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add uncooked pasta and broccoli to the baking dish.
  4. Pour the milk mixture evenly over the pasta and broccoli. Stir gently to coat.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top. Cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and stir gently.
  7. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
  8. Bake uncovered for an additional 10–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use whole milk for a richer, creamier bake.
  • Frozen broccoli works well; no need to thaw.
  • Add cooked chicken or ham for extra protein.
