- 1/2 cup milk

- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick oats

Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder.
- Bring to a rolling boil, stirring frequently. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
- Quickly stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Mix in the oats until fully coated.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Let cool at room temperature or refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until set.
Notes
- Use old-fashioned oats for a chewier texture, but quick oats make for softer cookies.
- Try adding shredded coconut or chopped nuts for extra texture.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
