Description

No Bake Black Forest Cheesecake is a rich, creamy dessert that combines the classic flavors of chocolate and cherries in a smooth cheesecake layered over a chocolate cookie crust—no oven required!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos, crushed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • Shaved chocolate or chocolate curls, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  4. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the chilled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Top with cherry pie filling, spreading it evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4–6 hours, or overnight for best results.
  7. Garnish with chocolate curls before serving, if desired. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a homemade cherry topping, use fresh or frozen cherries cooked down with sugar and cornstarch.
  • Use stabilized whipped cream if making ahead for more than 24 hours.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
