Description
No Bake Black Forest Cheesecake is a rich, creamy dessert that combines the classic flavors of chocolate and cherries in a smooth cheesecake layered over a chocolate cookie crust—no oven required!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos, crushed)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- Shaved chocolate or chocolate curls, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
- Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the chilled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Top with cherry pie filling, spreading it evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4–6 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Garnish with chocolate curls before serving, if desired. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- For a homemade cherry topping, use fresh or frozen cherries cooked down with sugar and cornstarch.
- Use stabilized whipped cream if making ahead for more than 24 hours.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
