Description

Juicy Mexican street tacos made with seasoned grilled beef, fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime, simple, vibrant, and packed with bold flavor.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef strips
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine beef strips with salt, cumin, and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil until evenly coated.
  3. Add remaining oil to the pan and heat briefly.
  4. Place beef in a single layer in the pan.
  5. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and slightly charred.
  6. Warm tortillas in a separate pan or directly over heat.
  7. Assemble tacos by filling tortillas with beef, then topping with chopped onion and cilantro, finish with lime juice and serve immediately.
