Description

Juicy marinated chicken chops served with a vibrant, herb-packed chimichurri sauce that brings freshness and bold flavor to every bite.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken chops
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat until hot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine parsley, cilantro, garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Lightly oil the cooking pan to prevent sticking.
  4. Coat the chicken chops with half of the chimichurri mixture and allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Cook the chicken for 6 to 7 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
  7. Spoon the remaining chimichurri sauce over the chicken and serve warm.
